Raisin Sauce for spiral sliced ham

1/4 | cup | seedless raisins |
2 | cups | water |
1 | cup | brown sugar |
2 | tbl. | cornstarch |
1/4 | tsp. | ginger |
1 | tbl. | red wine vinegar |
- Combine raisins with water; simmer about 5 minutes.
- In separate bowl, mix brown sugar, packed; cornstarch; ginger; and red wine vinegar. Add to raisin mixture stirring constantly until thickened.
